Mary C. Imming

1927 - 2007

 

Mary C. Imming, 80, of Watertown died on Sunday morning, July 8, 2007, at Golden Living Center in Watertown.

 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown with Father Bernard Rott officiating.  Burial will be in St. Henry Catholic Cemetery, Watertown.

 

Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass.

 

Memorials may be directed to the charity of one's choice.

 

The Hafemeister Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Mary was born on May 19, 1927, in Watertown, daughter of Daniel and Helen (Casey) Barry. She married Robert Imming on May 7, 1949, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Watertown.

 

Mary graduated from Watertown High School and St. Therese Nursing School. She had been employed as a registered nurse for the Jefferson County Home Health Services. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown.

 

Mary enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards and spending her winters in Arizona.

 

She is survived by her husband, Robert Imming of Watertown; her children, Sheila (Bud) Kempen of Menomonee Falls, John Imming of Elkhorn and Madonna (Tom) McFarland of Hartland; eight grandchildren, Dan Kempen, Andy (April) Kempen, Kevin Kempen, Lisa Imming, Laura Imming, Michael McFarland, Joe McFarland and Tim McFarland; two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Ethen Kempen; other relatives and friends.

 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Barry.
