George B. Hertel, 64, former Watertown resident, died January 19, 1950, at his home in Fargo N. D. He was buried in St. Henry's cemetery.

Mr. Hertel was born in Watertown on Jan. 28, 1886, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Hertel, and left Watertown some 33 years before his demise. He had been a tailor by trade.

There was a funeral service in Fargo after which the body was sent to Watertown.

The funeral was from the Boyle Funeral Home directly to St. Henry's Cemetery.
