Victor J. Haubenschild

1915 - 2000

 

Victor J. "Vic" Haubenschild, 85, passed away August 9, 2000, at University Hospital and Clinic in Madison due to accidental burns.

 

Vic was born in the town of Farmington on May 2, 1915, the son of Charles and Zenobia (Heger) Haubenschild. On Feb. 10, 1943, he married the former Dorothy Lemke in Waukesha. He was the owner of Vic’s Auto Parts and was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, the Dodge County Antique Power Club and the JC Riders.

 

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two nieces, Nancy (Wayne) Buazard of Rockford, Ill., and Paulette (Clarence) Wenham of Union Grove; two nephews, Dale (Sandy) Puerner of Milwaukee and Paul J. Haubenschild of Fort Atkinson; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Eleanore Puerner; one brother, Paul Haubenschild; and one niece.

 

Funeral services were held at St. Henry’s, Fr. Bernard Rott officiated. Burial was in St. Isador’s Cemetery in Clyman.
