Roberta Hain

1931 - 2005

 

Roberta J. Hain, 73, of Watertown, died January 31, 2005, at Beverly Terrace.

 

Funeral services were held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernard Rott officiating.

 

Burial was in the parish cemetery.

 

The former Roberta J. Buss was born on June 1, 1931, in Watertown, daughter of Hugo and Goldie (Schlesner) Buss. On July 12, 1952, she married Arthur Hain at St. Henry’s Church. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1989.

 

Roberta was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church.

 

She farmed most of her life, and enjoyed animals, embroidery, sewing and polka music. She especially enjoyed listening to her children's polka band.

 

Roberta also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

SURVIVORS:

 

Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Mark) Ihlenfield of Jefferson and Carol (Timothy) Asmus of Black River Falls; two sons, David (Darlene) Hain of Watertown and Francis (Barb) Hain of Helenville; her grandchildren, Cindy (Adam) Stroschein, Debbie (John) Richards, Laurie Siedenberg, Regi (Denise) Dremler and Ashley Hain; her great- grandchildren, Emma, Violet and Cole; other relatives and friends.

 

PRECEDED IN DEATH:

 

She was further preceded in death by her parents.
