Valentines

Watertown Daily Times, 02 05 2003

Valentines are not something that Milo and Lucille Froh think about a lot — there have been dozens going back and forth over the years, along with birthday cards, Christmas pictures and birth announcements.  They are quite proud of their nine children and their offspring of 33 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.  Family news traveling back and forth occasionally threatens to put a kink in the mail carrier’s back.  “We always get a bunch of valentines from the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, said Lucille.  We get lots of cards for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day — the mailman must go nuts.  As for thank you notes, some send them and some don’t.  Some send thoughtful notes so you know what they are thinking and others just say thanks.  It depends on the person.  They are all different.”
