Peter Euper III
1926 - 1972
Peter J. Euper, Jr., 46, 311 North Water Street, died November 19,
1972, at Veterans Hospital, Wood, WI, after a long illness. Funeral services
were held at St. Henry's Catholic Church with Rev. Raymond Dunn
officiating. Interment was in St. Henry's Cemetery. Military rites were performed at the grave
site.
Euper was born
He owned and operated
the Badger State Bottling Company for many years and in 1965 he moved to
Lucerne Valley, CA.
Euper was survived by one
daughter, Connie of Glencoe, Minn., one son, Peter of Hutchinson, Minn., his
mother, three sisters, Mrs. Rueben (Betty) Leichtle
of Columbia, South Carolina; Mrs.
James (Gertrude) Lawton of Watertown and Mrs. Thomas (Mary Jo) Lynch of
Madison.
He was a graduate of
St. Henry's School and Watertown Senior High School. He was a veteran of World War II,
and was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and the
American Legion.

Peter Euper Jr 1926 - 1972 is really the 3rd Peter Euper, not “Jr” as noted in the Watertown Daily Times obit.
His grand father and father were both “Peter Euper.” He has a son
Peter Euper IV, living in West Allis WI last I
heard. The First Peter Euper is the one who was married to Annette Mattecheck. One of
the children was Gertrude Euper and she was the nun
Sister Annette. The 2nd Peter Euper had a daughter named Gertrude who married the Lawton
and they live in Watertown WI.
