Ella Dowd

1901-1978

 

Mrs. Ella Dowd, 76, 716 1/2 Werner Street died at her home April 15, 1978.  Funeral services were at St. Henry's Catholic Church.  Father Michael Trainor officiated and burial was at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Waterloo.

 

The former Ella Huebner, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Huebner, Medina, was born Dec. 18, 1901.  She moved to Reeseville after her marriage to Mose Dowd, residing in Watertown since 1942.  They were married on Oct. 29, 1919 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1940. Mrs. Dowd was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church.
