Rosemarie (Klecker) Boyum

1914 - 2004

[ Lake Mills ]

 

Rosemarie D. Boyum, 90, of Lake Mills, formerly of Watertown, died on Aug. 23, 2004, at Brook Gardens Assisted Living in Lake Mills following a brief illness. Funeral services were held at St. Henry’s with the Rev. Bernard E. Rott officiating. Burial was in St. Henry’s Cemetery.

 

The former Rosemarie Klecker was born April 5, 1914, in Los Angeles, Calif., daughter of Edward and Celia (Pitterle) Klecker. She married Andrew Boyum on July 8, 1947, at St. Henry’s.  She was a graduate of St. Henry’s Elementary School and a member of the congregation.

 

She had been employed at Brandt Inc. in Watertown for many years, retiring in 1976.

 

Rosemarie was a member of the Christian Mother's of St. Henry's, Catholic Woman's Club of Watertown and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She and her husband were very active in the Watertown Knights of Columbus and they loved to travel after retiring. They also enjoyed summers at their trailer home on Rock Lake in Lake Mills. Rosemarie loved to play cards, crochet, fish and garden.    She sold Vivian Woodard cosmetics.
