Ruth Boelter

1905 - 1987

 

Ruth R. Boelter, 82, of 1002 East Main Street, Watertown, died December 28, 1987, at Watertown Memorial Hospital.

 

Funeral services were held from the Schmutzler Funeral Home and at St. Henry's Church with the Rev. Michael Richel officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

 

Boelter was born Jan. 16, 1905 in Watertown, daughter of John and Rose Boelter. She was a lifelong resident of Watertown and a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, Catholic Knights Insurance Society No. 120, Catholic Women's Club, American Association of Retired Persons Chapter No. 2007, St. Joseph's Home Auxiliary, and Watertown Senior Center.

 

She had been employed at J.C. Penney Company for 13 years and the former St. Mary's Hospital and Watertown Memorial Hospital for 17 years in the medical records department.

 

SURVIVORS:

 

Seven nieces and nephews, John of Watertown, Gerald of Oconomowoc, Robert and William, both of Manitowoc, James of Menomonee Falls, Helen Piaskowski of Manitowoc and Barbara Budde of Beaver Dam; 27 great- nieces and nephews; and nine great-, great-nieces and nephews.

 

PRECEDED IN DEATH:

 

Parents; three brothers, Joseph, Herbert and Raymond, a sister, Alice Breunig; a nephew; and a great-niece.
