Confirmation

1943

Throngs of worshippers yesterday filled St. Bernard's and St. Henry's Catholic churches for the confirmation services which were conducted by the Rt. Rev. Bona, bishop of Grand Island, Neb.  He served in place of the Rt. Rev. Moses E. Kiley, archbishop of Milwaukee.

Services at St. Bernard's church were held at 4 p.m., and the bishop ended his day at St. Henry's Church with a service at 7:30 p.m.  In all of the services he was assisted by numerous clergymen.  He delivered a sermon at each of the services.  Earlier in the day he officiated at similar services at Clyman and Richwood churches.
