We wish to take this opportunity to thank Oswald Peters for donating an American flag for the foyer of our funeral home. I have known Ozzie for the past 16 years as a friend and neighbor. During that time he has been a model of patriotism. He served our country in World War II and has been an active member of Watertown American Legion Post #189.

Ozzie has served that organization in about every office they have, marched in numerous parades, laid many of his fallen comrades to rest as a member of the firing squad and served in many other ways. Ozzie proudly flies his flag at home to show his patriotism and he didn't need 9-11 to get himself fired up.

Thank you Ozzie for your gift. We will proudly display the American flag in our funeral home.
