Dear Moms and Dads,

Picture day is this coming Wednesday.  Ordering sheets were included in the family envelopes sent home on September 4.  I’d like to clear up any confusion regarding ordering our annual, spring memorybook.  This year you may order it now on the pictures’ order blank or wait until second semester and then order them at that time.  The company said they would give us a list of who ordered memorybooks this September so we could let you know later in case you didn’t remember whether you did or didn’t.  They are optional, of course, as are the pictures themselves.

Something that is not on the picture order form is the fact that a class composite picture does come with all three packages.  Whether or not pictures are ordered at all, all children’s pictures are taken so they all will be in their class picture and in the memorybook.

The Home and School Association’s PJ’s and Subway coupons fund-raiser is finishing up next week. Please check calendar below for specifics.

Next Friday is the HASA Family Sock Hop too.  If your youngsters are a little too “mature” for the dance event and/or you are big Goslings fans and will be attending the homecoming festivities and games, we have been asked to let you know that the Watertown Athletic Booster Club (with members of both parishes helping with that too) is serving “Eats and Treats” before the game for $6.00 a plate:  brats, hotdogs, chips, and desserts provided by football players! Don’t you hate it when two good things happen at the same time and you have to choose one and miss the other?

Teachers asked that we move up the date for mid-quarter reports to Friday, October 2. The yearly calendar had it for the 9th.  They felt sooner was better than later.  Probably a good idea.

Three cheers to God for giving us such beautiful days.  Have a lovely weekend.
