“ Act justly, love tenderly,
walk humbly with your
God.”
Micah 6:8
In case you had heard and were wondering: St. Bernard School will be closed on Friday, September
26 so the teachers can attend a conference.
Our teachers attended the same conference two years ago and felt that
they had retained a lot of the material and would not need to go again. So we will be open for business!
Really want to encourage any parents who have not yet taken the
workshop “Protecting God’s Children” to attend the one offered here on Saturday
morning the 20th. Lots of
details in last week’s newsletter. If
you misplaced yours, you can find it on the parish website sainthenryparish.org. Choose homepage and then parent newsletters.
Please do support the important Athletic Association
fund-raiser. You received tickets at the
family meeting – or sent home in your Friday folder. If you are quite sure you will be unable to
sell any more, please return any unsold tickets in a clearly marked envelope
with your NAME on it by this coming Thursday.
Then those who would like more to sell – bless you – can ask Mrs. Harms
or the office for some of those. ALL
tickets and money must be returned to school on or before Thursday, October
2. The drawing will be Saturday, the 4th
at the volleyball game. Good luck!
All should have received their school picture information in last
week’s envelope. Please look through it and be all set then for Wednesday, the
24th. Thanks.
Enjoy your weekend. Give
God His due.
