Saint Henry Catholic School “Soaring with the Lord!” 300 E. Cady Street · Watertown, WI

Dear Parents,
Thank you for all your expressions of
condolences and prayers. Losing Mrs. Trimborn ~Ida~our wonderful
secretary of the last twenty-one years and dear, dear friend is indeed a loss .
. . to all of us. A terrific gain for
the folks in heaven. And what a
wonderful celebration of her life the memorial Mass and lunch after was
Wednesday evening! I love being Catholic
and am so grateful to be a member of this community.
Many members of our Home and School deserve
much appreciation for the hard work they expended getting and spreading the
mulch for the bushes and the safety wood chips for the playground area. The picnic/potluck supper was a delightful
gathering – and a sincere God bless for those who made that happen too. In the office are a large Farberware
metal tray, a covered purple plastic bowl, and a white flowered Pyrex dish –
all left by their owners Saturday.
Please claim soon or they might be put up for adoption.
Speaking of HASA, what a nice gift the
magnetic calendars were for everybody.
If you would like a second one for work or grandparents or a child
caregiver, they are available in the office for a donation of $2.00. Still speaking HASA . . . Market Day orders
have to be in Tuesday morning if you are
hoping to have something to pick up Friday, the 10th. Sadly, we still need some people to step up
and volunteer as board reps for grades 5-8, and we're kinda
hoping they are not already people with big volunteer jobs for this year
already. Remember, you can “job
share. Please! If you are interested in being a substitute
noon recess playground supervisor, a paid HASA position, please give me a call
at the office and I will give you all the details.
I can't stress enough the importance of our
receiving all those forms that we request.
Some of you are getting back a form because more is needed on it. Please fill in the missing, highlighted
area(s) and return it on Tuesday. The
sheet that is titled “Parent/Guardian Medication Consent Form” is the one you
have to fill out whether it is for prescription OR non-prescription medication,
including even something as simple as cough drops – but only if and when an
occasion arises. By the way, ALL
medications, prescription or not, have to be in original packaging. (Seems a little silly for something like
cough drops, but it is actually the law now.)
All these forms can be downloaded from the school section of our parish
website sainthenryparish.org or stop in the office or write us a note if you
need another.
Have a lovely, long, fun weekend. God bless!
