“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday,
today, and
forever.”
Hebrews 13: 8
A blessed, blessed Holy Week to you and
your families. May the Risen Lord, who still
carries the marks of his crucifixion, give you and yours all that you need to
get through each day – through life! – with grace, integrity, strength, peace
and joy!
All service hours for school year 2008-2009
and the slip listing them must be completed by Wednesday, April 15th. We’ll send a new service hours slip for 09-10
on the 17th so you can start racking those up.
I know some of you will hand them in for next year before you leave this
year! With all the summer service needs
at the church picnic etc., it’s nice to have the slip available. And, again, thank you for ALL the myriad ways
you help and support this mission of providing our children with a grade school
experience that makes it possible for them to “Soar with the Lord!”
Another looming deadline is for those who
are planning to enjoy the weekend in May in the Dells with other St. Henry and
St. Bernard School families. Those reservations must also be in by April
15th. We will just re-run on the back of
this newsletter information we sent home in December. Seems like Uncle Sam wants something by that
date too. Popular date!
Wasn’t the spring program a pure
delight? By the way, our own Mrs. Oestreicher (music and band teacher) and Miss Boettcher
(Grade Three) are going to be part of an Easter Cantata, The Rose of Calvary,
this Sunday at 4 pm in the High School. Tickets are just $3.00 and can be
purchased at the door. They say it’s
awesome!
