Troop 43 Scouts
Court of Honor
2004
Boy Scout Troop 43 of
Watertown recently held its winter Court of Honor in conjunction with Scout
Sunday. Boy Scout Troop 43 is chartered
by St. Henry’s.
Senior patrol leader
Eric Doubet and advancement chairwomen Tammy Cypher
and Bonnie Leu awarded rank and merit badges.
Advancing in rank were
Joshua Cornell and Dan Meyer to Tenderfoot; Dan Yerges,
Second Class; Brandon Ruehlow and Jarod Von Rueden, Star; and Roger Cypher, Life.
Merit badges were
presented to the following Scouts: Joshua Cornell, citizen in the nation, fire
safety and textile; Josh Cutting, camping, citizen in the community, citizens
in the nation, and fire safety; Roger Cypher, citizen in the community, citizen
in the nation, fire safety and personal fitness; Nathan Dondlinger,
citizen in the community, communications, personal fitness and personal
management; Eric Doubet, citizen in the nation,
personal fitness and fire safety; Kyle Keller, fire safety; Beau Ruehlow, citizen in the community and fire safety; Brandon Ruehlow, citizen in the community, citizen in the nation
and fire safety; Jarod Von Rueden, fire safety; Nick
Weissenborn, fire safety; Dan Yerges, textile; Sam Yerges, citizen in the community and fire safety.
Scout service stars
were handed out to both Scouts and adult committee members. Roger Cypher, Eric Doubet and David Doubet were
recognized for completing their ordeal at Camp Long Lake and becoming full
members of the Order of the Arrow. Nathan Dondlinger
is waiting for his Eagle Board of Review.
