Mundt Grocery at 510 North Fourth Street
Watertown’s
oldest neighborhood grocery store, that of John Mundt located in [510] N. Fourth
Street is going out of business and has been sold to Paul Kasten. Mundt was located in
the present buildings since 1884 when the late John Mundt erected the store and
corner building. The corner building [512]
is at present rented and so is the large upper flat above the store.
