19, 1865
Died
In the city of Watertown, Wis., on the 19th of October, 1865, Mr. Reuben Moak, aged 65 years.
Mr. Moak had resided here but a short time and such has been the state of his health that he was compelled to withdraw himself wholly from the active business of life. In the portion of New York where he formerly lived and almost all his years were passed, he was known and respected as an upright, useful and intelligent citizen. He has three sons here – Mr. William T., Mr. Justus T., and Mr. DeWitt C. Moak – all of whom were present at the funeral which took place last Friday afternoon – having done all that could be done for the health and happiness of their aged parent during his brief stay with them in the West.
