04 29 DEATH
OF JOHN B. MAY
The remains of John B. May, who died in Chicago last Wednesday, were brought here on Friday and interred in Oak Hill cemetery. Mr. May some eight years since was engaged in photography in this city, and it was under his superintendence that the telephone system was inaugurated here.
He conducted the telephone exchange until his removal to Milwaukee in 1891. Mr. May was about 51 years of age, an Englishman by birth, and a member of the Knights of Pythias and Sons of Hermann. The Watertown News, 26 Apr 1899
