On Thursday, February 11, 1915, Mrs. Frank Langer of
Fond du Lac died of heart and dropsical troubles,
with which she had been a sufferer for a long time.
Deceased was a daughter of Mrs. Doris Hartwig of this city and was born here 38 years ago. Twelve years ago she was married to Mr. Langer
and since then has resided in Fond du Lac, where Mr. Langer is agent for the C.&N.W. Ry. Co.
Her husband, her mother, three sisters and four
brothers survive her, the sisters and brothers being, Mrs. Moritz Wolf, Detroit:
Mrs. Doris Schultze, this city; Mrs. Ralph Voss,
Portland, Oregon; Ferdinand Hartwig, this city; Arlo
J. Hartwig, Chicago; Dr. A. H. Hartwig,
this city; R. W. Hartwig, Chicago.
Her remains were brought here on Monday in the private
car of Supt. Prendel of the C.&N.W.
Ry. and taken to the home of Dr. A. H. Hartwig in
Main Street, from where the funeral
was held to Oak Hill cemetery.
The news of Mrs. Langer’s death was received in this
city with sincere sorrow, for she was a lady who was greatly beloved here by a
large acquaintance. She possessed a
beautiful, sympathetic disposition that endeared her greatly to all who knew
her.
