Edgar Kuntz

1891 - 1948

 

Edgar A. Kuntz, 57, died August 31, 1948, at St. Mary's Hospital, where he had been a patient.

 

Mr. Kuntz was born April 10, 1891 in Reeseville, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Kuntz. In 1908 he moved from Reeseville with his parents to a farm in the town of Watertown, after which they moved to Watertown.

 

His marriage to Erna Platz of the town of Watertown took place Oct. 21, 1919. She died Dec. 21, 1947.  In 1941 he and his family moved to Milwaukee.

 

Mr. Kuntz was a veteran of World War I and served overseas for one year with the infantry. 

 

Surviving are two sons, Edgar J. Kuntz and Christian Kuntz, both of Milwaukee, his stepmother, Mrs. Minnie Kuntz, Juneau; two brothers, Baldwin and Julius, Juneau; one half-brother, Reuben Kuntz, Juneau; two half-sisters, Mrs. Carl Urieman and Mrs. Fred Pautsch, both of Juneau.

 

Mr. Kuntz was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. The Rev. William A. Eggert of St. Mark's officiated and interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
