Dolly Mae (Bartelme) Justman

1954- 2013

 

HULL — Dolly Mae (Bartelme) Justman, age 59, of Hull, passed away on Sunday, May 26, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, after battling cancer for the past year.

 

Dolly was born in Waukesha on Feb. 10, 1954, the daughter of Jack and Avis (Anderson) Bartelme.  She attended Watertown Senior High School (class of 1972).  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree.  Dolly was employed at Waushara County Social Services for 17 years as a social worker.

 

Dolly enjoyed the simple and peaceful things of life.  She had a deep faith in scriptures and in the Lord.  She will be most remembered for her sacrificial generosity, contagious laughter, heart-warming smile, and loving kindness that brought meaningful joy to so many others.

 

Dolly will be dearly missed by her mother Avis Bartelme of Oconomowoc, her son Christopher (Jennifer) Justman and grandson Vann Justman of Adell; brothers, Milton (Diane) Bartelme of Franklin, Jack Bartelme Jr., of Oconomowoc, Scott Bartelme of Stevens Point; brother-in-law Erv Tietz of Enid, Okla.; foster sister Esilda Malik of Klanath, Ore.; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Dolly was preceded in death by her father Jack P. Bartelme Sr., brother Michael P. Bartelme, and sister Patricia Ann (Bartelme) Tietz.

 

Funeral services for Dolly will be held on Tuesday at 3 p.m. with a visitation starting at 1 p.m., all to take place at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown.
