Lois Fisk
1937- 2013
Lois Fisk, 76, of Watertown, passed away
on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Marquardt Health Center.
Lois was born on
June 2, 1937, in Poynette, the daughter of Harold and Luella (Medick) Baerwolf. She graduated
with a bachelor degree from Concordia Teachers College. She married A. Clifford Fisk on Aug. 1, 1959,
in Arlington. Lois was a Lutheran school
teacher and a secretary, having worked at Bethesda Lutheran Homes for 20 years,
retiring on May 31, 2002. She was a
member of Good Shepherd were she was active in Bible studies. Lois was a member of Watertown Community
Concert, Red Geranium Red Hatters and Line Dancers. Her proudest accomplishment was as a devoted
and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include
husband A. Clifford Fisk of Watertown, son Gary (Annette) Fisk of Watertown;
daughter Wendy (Sean) McGlynn of Thousand Oaks,
Calif.; four grandchildren Cole, Sarah, Marisa and Joseph; sister Loralie (Jim) Isely of Watertown;
also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She
was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gene Baerwolf
and uncle Earl Medick. Memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of American
Red Cross would be appreciated.
Funeral service will
be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with the Rev.
David Groth officiating. Visitation will be held at
the church on Wednesday from 9:30-11 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Hill
Cemetery Watertown.
