The first annual floral exhibit of
the White Elm Nursery at Wright's ground floor studio last evening was a grand
success. Mr. Brown, manager of the
nursery had sent a large number of peonies and also some roses, for the
exhibit, which Mr. Wright arranged very tastily in his waiting room. Many people came before and after the heavy
shower and witnessed the grand display. Each
visitor received a flower and some were even fortunate as to get more than one
through the liberality of Mr. Brown, who stated to a Leader representative that he has the intention of making the
exhibit an annual affair and add more every year. There were 2,000 flowers in the exhibit last
evening.
