To Dr. Welbourne
Our prayers are
being answered,
Oh Dr. Welbourne dear;
You’ll see some
smiling faces
Again when you are
here.
For many years
you’ve helped us
To fact dark hours
grim;
You’ve pulled us
through our sickness
When our chances
were dim.
Now ‘tis our turn
to show you
Our great love and
respect
For your noble
sacrifice,
No patient to
neglect.
May God bring you
back to health
We are praying for
you;
Our good, loyal
doctor friend,
Ever to duty true.
Blanche V. Jessup,
A grateful
patient.
