A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at noon at St. Henry Catholic Church with Monsignor Daniel Ganshert celebrating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Monday from 10 a.m. to noon at the church. Memorials to St. Henry Catholic Church, Highland House or Rainbow Hospice would be appreciated. The former Ruth V. Hady was born on Oct. 8, 1914, in Watertown, the daughter of John and Barbara (Hrobsky) Hady. On Jan. 24, 1942, she married Arnold Steinhorst at St. Henry Catholic Church, he preceded her in death on July 6, 2003. Ruth had been a bookkeeper for their business, the former Riverside Poultry Farm. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. Ruth was a board member and volunteer of St. Vincent de Paul Society, an organizer of the St. Henry Home and School group and an organizer and member of AARP No. 3056.

 

Ruth is survived by her children Robert (Dorothy) Steinhorst and Jane Lyons, both of Watertown, grandchildren John (Kristine) Lyons, Joseph Lyons, Jeff (Jennifer) Frost, Erin (Antonio) Frost-Reguilon and Bethany (Michael) Peters, six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She is the last member of her immediate family and is preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters Louis Hady Sr., Leona Fridl, Bernadette Newman, Irene Krueger, Jerome Hady, Blanche Havlicek, Chester Hady, Virginia Schraven and Thomas Hady.
