1941
01 13 The new tavern building which is being erected for Joseph E. Herro at W. Main & S. Water streets, is rapidly taking shape.
The rear half of the structure is nearly complete and the tavern business will be moving into it while the main part of the old building is torn down and the new unit is built to conform with the part already under construction.
When completed it will give Mr. Herro one of the best tavern buildings in the city. The second floor will include a large hall. WDTimes, 01 13 1941
