Death of Mrs. Ira O. Howe

 

Mrs. Ira O. Howe, formerly MISS CORA BRADBURY of this city, died at her home in Topeka, Kansas, last week.  Deceased was a daughter of the late D. O. Bradbury, who for many years was roadmaster of the La Crosse division of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Ry., making his home in this city.  On June 2, 1858, she was born in Vermont, and came to this city with her parents when a small child.  She was a graduate of the Watertown High School, after graduating from which she taught school in the old No. 2 Union School, now Lincoln school.  On October 27, 1881, she was united in marriage with Ira O. Howe of this city, who at that time was a miller in the Globe Mill.
